We were a little worried after seeing only 1 chef in the kitchen and the cafe building up for a busy sunday morning trade. We were really pleasantly surprised when our food arrived and it was outstanding! Excellent eggs Benedict, eggs cooked perfectly and the hollondaise was unbelievable. The mushrooms were tasty and juicy and herby and just mouth watering! The chilli scramble was a bit hit and the waffles were next level in both taste and presentation. Service was warm and accommodating and easy going, especially given we had 3 kids with us. Haven’t had such a good breakfast in a while, and we’d eaten at other more up market cafes in Nelson bay, but the food was meh compared to this place.
